Intervention teacher 0.2fte (1 day a week)
St Nicolas Cof Primary School
Where Learning Becomes an Adventure
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher to work 0.2fte (1 day per week) at St Nicolas CE Primary School, Downderry (a member of the St Barnabas Multi-Academy Trust).
This role would include supporting individual children within whole class lessons and delivering carefully targeted interventions to accelerate children’s progress. This would include supporting children working below the expected standard and also providing additional challenge for pupils capable of achieving ‘Greater Depth’ of the ‘Expected Standard’. This would be in addition to ‘Quality First Teaching’ in the classroom.
This is a new and evolving role for our school and we would welcome the opportunity to invite you to our school to answer any questions you may have.
‘Qualified Teacher Status’ (QTS) is required for this post. This post is not suitable for NQT’s (Newly Qualified Teachers). Experience of working across the Primary age range would be advantageous.
This is a 0.2fte role, on a temporary contract; initially for 2 terms.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Head of School, Mr Imrie, should you wish to make a visit or require further information.
